These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the 80s Filter web app at 80sfilter.try2.app ("the Service", "we", "us"), operated by TRY2APP LTD. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms.
You upload a photo, and the Service uses a third-party AI image model to produce a restyled version of that photo in a 1980s aesthetic (period hair, wardrobe, lighting and film look). Generating an image requires an active paid subscription. There is no free tier and no free trial.
You can subscribe and use the Service either with an account (email and password, or Google Sign-In, handled through Firebase Authentication) or anonymously. If you subscribe anonymously, your access is tied to a signed identifier stored in a cookie on your device — it is not linked to an email on our side, so clearing cookies or switching browser or device will lose that access unless you have added an email (via "Secure your access" in your Studio) or you restore it using your checkout email. You are responsible for keeping any login credentials secure and for activity under your account or anonymous session. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher.
Neither plan is unlimited. Weekly allowances reset on a rolling 7-day basis and unused images do not carry over. Prices are shown in US dollars; customers in some regions are billed in local currency at checkout. All billing is handled by Polar Software Inc. ("Polar"), acting as our merchant of record — Polar is the seller of record for your purchase, collects payment, and handles applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the "Manage subscription" link in your Studio, which opens the Polar customer portal; cancellation stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the paid period.
You keep ownership of the photo you upload and of the image the Service generates from it. You grant us only the limited rights needed to run the Service (transmit your photo to our AI provider, generate the result, and store the result in your account). You represent and warrant that you own or have permission to use every photo you upload, and that every identifiable person in a photo has consented to it being uploaded and restyled by an AI service.
You may not: upload photos of other people without their consent; upload content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit, or that depicts minors in any unsafe context; use the Service to create misleading images of real people presented as genuine; attempt to resell or redistribute access to the Service; or attempt to circumvent the subscription or allowance limits.
Images are generated by an AI model and are provided "as is". They will not be a perfect likeness, may contain artefacts, and may not meet your expectations. A generated image that you find unsatisfactory still counts against your weekly allowance. We do not guarantee that any particular result can be reproduced.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any plan, and may update these Terms. If we make a material change to pricing or allowances for your active plan, we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
